Read it over and over. Posting the paper on the corners of your room will make it visible enough for you to be reminded of regarding your goal.

Revise your copy. As things change, the concerns you have also alters. But it is important that you stick to reachable and realistic goals.

Keep a log to yourself. You may list down the initial steps that you have taken in the achievement of your goal. You can also jot down other necessary things that you can attend to tomorrow or for the next days to come.

Take time to learn it. Always study and keep an eye on your designated project. It does not mean that you have to go back to school for another degree. It is only a matter of being decided on the matter. The more intense your success for motivation is, the clearer the pursuance of your dream would be to you.

Have someone to share your concerns with. It is important that you take note of other people’s opinion. Their voices can truly help in the materialization of your dream.

Be inspired. It has been tried and tested. Having someone or something as an inspiration can contribute to the success motivation deals.

If you dare to take challenges, always be geared towards success motivation. You will lose nothing when you do so. Visit motivational speaker for further information.

Winter Cattle

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

Hi there,

Well, it is finally here. The birth of new calves in 2009. It’s cold, its breezy. It is Alberta Calving season!

Can you even imagine what it is like to be born into the Canadian Winter Wind Chill?

Here is a picture of a few soon to be mom’s. Look how fuzzy these girls are. For these new mom’s we watch closely and try to seperate the one’s that are soon to calve and keep indoors in the barn. That is just because it is their first time mothering and if they are slow to lick the calf dry or get the calf up, the calf will freeze. The experienced mom’s have their calves outdoors, in bedding, beside wind shelters, in sheds: whatever is handy. The experienced mom’s rarely need help and rarely is there a problem.

  • For the next month or two, we get up every several hours in the middle of the night to check cattle, especially the young mom’s who are still outdoors and especially on the blistery cold nights when the wind chill goes into the 20’s. The sound of the night alarm is about the last thing you want to hear in the middle of the night, but the responsibility drives either my husband, myself or my mother-in-law out of bed in the middle of the night.
  • The best part is when the new babies are well on their way and running around kicking and frolicking, even if it is really cold. Once they have a couple of days under their belt they don’t seem to mind too much. They chase the cats, chase each other, try to investigate everything and generally look for trouble. The sounds like the young of all species doesn’t it!

So, for all the ranchers, farmers and cattle owners and cattle out there, we wish all a safe and healthy calving season.

The law of Attraction - How to Activate in 3 Steps

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

What is ” The Law of Attraction” ?

The Law of Attraction Simply states that whatever we Focus on will be drawn to us.

The “Nut and Bolts” of the Law of Attraction

The the secret law of attraction starts in our minds mixed with our emotions. As You are aware thought and emotions are energy. We can’t see the energy but science has proven that they exists. Our brain show ‘brain waves” when we are thinking and this can be displayed on the monitor of a brain wave machine. Our brain activity can be demonstrated in what science calls alpha-waves, beta-waves, theta-waves and delta-waves. These are all manifestation of energy. The law of attraction is best explained by briefly taking a look at Quantum Physics Quantum Physics. It is the study of the building blocks of the universe. Quantum Physics has proven that everything in this universe is made up of atoms, and atoms are made up of sub-atomic particles sometimes called quanta. These sub-atomic particles are nothing but concentration of energy.

It has become clear that everything in this universe is made of energy. The only difference between an atom of Iron and an atom of gold is that the atom of iron has energy that is vibrating at a different frequency to the energy of gold. It is clear that the reason why the same particles grow together is because they are vibrating at the same frequency.

How the Law of Attraction work?

In order to explain how the Law of Attraction works we need to understand what thought are.

Thoughts are Vibrational Energy and a very potent form of energy. That means that it will be attract to other energy with the same frequency. when we hold a thought in our mind or the picture of an item we would like to attract then the picture in our mind (thought) is at the same frequency of the item we are attempting to attract. This is a very simplified explanation of how we attract things to us.

How to implement the law of attraction

step 1: Determine what it is that you would like to Attract hold a picture in your mind.
Step 2: Hold the picture in your mind for as long and as often as possible
Step 3:See yourself enjoying the thing you would like to attract e.g. If it’s a new car see yourself driving in the car waving to your friend. See yourself driving the car to a favorite place.

How to activate the law of attraction?
The simplest way to activate it is to hold a mental picture of what you desire as long as possible and as often as possible. Feel that you already have what you want with certainty; you will see it quickly in your physical life.

There are best motivation book available which will give more information on the law of Attraction.

Poachers Pay and So They Should

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

Poaching Deer

Two University of Toledo students who illegally killed a Trophy white-tailed deer have been ordered to pay $13,278 in restitution to the Ohio Division of Wildlife.

Justin Angles, 20, of Fostoria, and Dave Mahoney, 20, of Akron killed the deer on Oct. 9, 2008, in a park in the Toledo area. Visitors to Side Cut Metro Park in Maumee were so familiar with the 15-point buck that they had named it “Big Boy” and “Stickers.”

The deer was estimated to be about 9 years old, a senior citizen of any Ohio deer herd.

Read the Rest Here

Justice is sweet. Not only did these two kill illegally, but they thought posting a picture of their kill would be a good idea. Read the story about how these two were found out.

Day 4 in a week of Ahisma, the first Yama of the Four Limbs of Yoga

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

Bless Nature

This week is a week to practice Ahisma. The essence of Ahisma is the practice of non-judgement and non-harming. We have carried this into the subjects of judgement of oneself, judgement of others as individuals, and judgements of others as groups.

Today , consider the practice of Ahisma as it relates to the enviroment.  The practice of non violence, non harming towards the enviroment is essential to the preservation of our livelihood on earth. One way to consider the practice of Ahisma with reference to the enviroment is taking a break away from excessive consumption.  No matter how much advertising and marketing says you must partake, you have the free will to say no, if only for today.

Each and everyday we are taught, pressured, lured into the belief that we are what we do, what we have, and how successful we are. The level of consumption we have is equated with the level of success. The bigger the house, the fancier the car, the more gadgets and games we possess, the bigger the vacations, the more cell phones we can hook together in one plan…..are all indicators of our level of success. In a competitive world, we think we are in the lead if we have all these things. But really, are we?

Do you go through your day with a sense of accomplishment and peace because you have accumulated these many things? Or do you always have a sense of never enough, always chasing, always moving and yet never arriving? It is easy to see that joy and peace will never follow consumption, no matter how much we have been brainwashed to believe it is so.

The truth is, we are all vunerable. In the words of Byron Katie: Life is as it is. The only thing we can control is our attitude and actions. When you practice Ahisma, there are many obstacles.

So, for today, only for today: practice Ahisma or non-harming towards the enviroment. Take a break from buying something today, disposing of something that is still useful, or destroying something that no longer pleases you but is still functional. Consider a walk in nature and give thanks for the things the universe gives us for free everyday. We all get oxygen to breath today, the earth still has trees and water for us to drink and use and enjoy.

If we practice Ahisma towards others today, we can even enjoy what the universe offers us in terms of love and joy. Get out of your head and the ego’s need to get more and rest in the moment: looking for what has been graciously given for you to enjoy. No matter how rough it is for you, there is always something to be grateful for today. If you had a shower give thanks. If you had water to drink say thanks. If you had a home to live in says thanks. If you had some food today give thanks. It is said that if you have a dish full of change on your dresser night stand, you are more wealthy than something like 80% of the worlds’ population.

Today is a good day to practice Ahisma towards the enviroment. Have a great day.
